1. Ali Wrap Nosings

Aluminium wrap-around nosing profiles for stair treads and step edges with LVT or WPC/SPC flooring.

Available Profiles:

• Ali Wrap Nosing LVT - For 2.5mm or 3mm dryback (glue down) LVT, requires 6mm plywood prep
• Ali Wrap Nosing WPC/SPC Flush - For WPC 8mm and WPC/SPC 6.5mm flush installation
• Ali Wrap Nosing WPC/SPC Overlap - For top step allowing expansion

Technical Details:

• Base material: Aluminium for high-quality installation
• Use top layer to form the curve
• Fits existing bullnose (overhang) tread without squaring off nosing or building out riser
• Designed for 22mm-25mm tread thickness
• Use Stycco Flex adhesive or similar
• Supplied with pre-attached adhesive tape for LVT inlay
• Pre-drilled and countersunk at 100mm centres
• Supplied with Spax-M self-drilling screws (Do not pre-drill)
• Requires T20 star bit
• Suitable for returns (mitres)

2. Ali Tramline Transitions

Aluminium transition strips for joining different flooring types. An alternative to 'T' mouldings with tramline design.

Available Profiles:

• Ali Tramline Transition 1mm recess - For WPC/SPC flooring. Install flooring into 24mm recess by peeling off top layer (may require heat)
• Ali Tramline Transition 3mm recess - For LVT 2-3mm when installed using recommended underlay system requiring expansion. Install flooring into 24mm recess

Technical Details:

• Includes offset pre-attached adhesive tape for fitting to floor and recess
• Surface may require additional preparation prior to adhering trim

3. Ali Tramline End Profiles

End cap profiles with tramline design for finishing flooring edges. An alternative to scotia, base shoe, and quarter round. Perfect for conservatory doors (sliders).

Available Profiles:

• Ali Tramline End Profile 1mm recess - For WPC/SPC (any multi-layered flooring). Install flooring into 8mm recess by peeling off top layer (may require heat)
• Ali Tramline End Profile 3mm recess - For LVT 2-3mm when installed using recommended underlay system. Install flooring into 10mm recess

Technical Details:

• Includes pre-attached adhesive tape for skirting/base board and recess
• Surface may require additional preparation prior to adhering trim

4. Ali TramlineZ

Z-bar profile with tramline design. A perfectly matched joiner from carpet to hard flooring. Used for stretch-fit carpets (medium height) to LVT, WPC/SPC 6-8mm, and 8mm laminate.

Available Profiles:

• Ali TramlineZ 1mm recess - For WPC/SPC (any multi-layered flooring) by peeling off top layer
• Ali TramlineZ 3mm recess - For LVT 2-3mm, Floating LVT/Click 4-5mm, and laminate flooring by planing down to 3mm

Installation Tips:

• Includes pre-attached adhesive tape
• Includes MDF spacer 40cm long - cut in short lengths and place under nail holes to raise base
• Consider underlay and carpet thickness as this affects heights
• Trim should start a few millimetres above flooring height to allow 2-4mm level nap down for firm carpet grip on pins
• Use MDF strips provided to raise base 3mm
• Use block of wood wrapped in carpet and gently hammer down trim making it level, never at an angle

5. Ali Tramline Reducers

Reducer profiles with tramline design for transitioning between different flooring heights. A perfectly matched reducer/ramp accommodating height differences from 2-9mm.

Available Profiles:

• Ali Tramline Reducer 1mm recess - For WPC/SPC (any multi-layered flooring). Install flooring into recess by peeling off top layer (may require heat)
• Ali Tramline Reducer 3mm recess - For LVT/Click 4-5mm flooring by planing down. Install flooring into recess. 'P' groover the back of LVT to allow for ramp

Height Options:

• 2-3mm - Simply turn trim around to provide either 2mm or 3mm drop
• 4-5mm - For medium height differences
• 6-7mm - For larger height transitions
• 8-9mm - For maximum height differences

6. Ali Zee Bar

Classic aluminium Z-bar profile designed to produce an aesthetically pleasing invisible turn when installing carpet where no visible fixings are desired. Covers expansion gaps and joins flooring at different heights.

Features: Traditional Z-bar design, covers expansion gaps, joins different floor levels, easy installation

7. Ali Top Nose

New Ali Top Nose for use with 7-8mm laminate to a carpeted stair. The Ali Top Nose uses a base material of aluminium for a high-quality installation.

Technical Details:

• Use in conjunction with our Easyshims - carpet on riser can be adhered for secure fix
• Continues the waterfall look of carpet on steps below
• 7-8mm laminate can be used with 2mm underlay or use 2mm MDF spacers (supplied) for thicker underlay systems
• Pre-drilled and countersunk at 150mm (6") centres
• Supplied with Spax-M self-drilling screws (do not pre-drill)
• Requires T20 star bit

8. Ali Bendys

The Ali Bendy Profile uses a base material of aluminium for high-quality installation. An attractive stair nosing for curved/curtail treads and straight steps between 22mm-50mm (using the Bigger Bendy) thickness.

Available Profiles:

• Ali Bendy Flush for peeled SPC/WPC - Flush installation for peeled multi-layer flooring
• Ali Bendy Overlap for peeled SPC/WPC - Overlap installation for peeled multi-layer flooring
• Ali Bendy for LVT - Standard bendy profile for LVT installations (22mm-25mm treads)
• Ali Bigger Bendy for LVT - Larger profile for thicker treads (up to 50mm)
