Arra Free Flooring Measurement Service

Free home flooring measure

Measure the room, review the subfloor and choose with fitting in mind

Dave visits your home to measure the flooring areas and discuss how each room is used. The visit connects product choice with practical fitting details such as door clearance, transitions, stairs, existing flooring and any preparation that may be needed.

Selected manufacturer samples can be brought where available, so colours and textures can be considered in the room’s own light. The result is a clearer basis for a fitted flooring quotation, without asking you to estimate complicated areas yourself.

Before the visit

Note the rooms, preferred flooring types and any concerns about the existing floor. Photos can help with early advice, but final quantities should follow an on-site measure.

During the measure

Room dimensions, stairs, access, thresholds and visible subfloor conditions are reviewed. Product format, joins, waste and finishing details are considered together.

After the visit

The measurements and agreed requirements support an accurate quotation. Any preparation or accessory requirements can be explained before products are ordered.

Explore suitable flooring before your appointment

Use the collections to shortlist styles, then ask Dave which construction and fitting method suits the room.

Free measure questions

What should I have ready for the visit?

A list of the rooms, any preferred products or colours, and details of the existing floor are useful. Clear access to the areas being measured helps Dave check edges, doors and transitions.

Can stairs and landings be measured?

Yes. Stairs, turns and landings need more detail than a simple room. You can also read the stair measuring guide before the visit.

Will samples be available?

Selected manufacturer samples are available for some ranges. Dave can confirm suitable sample options when arranging the visit.
